About Little Saturday Room
Little Saturday Room facilitates the sharing and exchange of a diverse selection of physical media by the community, for the community.Little Saturday Room features:- Over 100 shelves for books, music, and other physical media
- A rotational pop-up section for retail and community activation
- A community table and flexible seating areas to facilitate library activities such as small discussion gatherings on books, unplugged music sessions, improv, workshops and other experimental ideas.
- A record player, discmans and walkmans to support music enjoyment within.Little Saturday Room is open everyday, except for Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What can I place on my shelf?
A shelf measures approximately 40cm L x 30cm H x 35cm D. We welcome most forms of physical media including but not limited to books, zines, magazines, CDs, and cassette tapes.Vinyl records are also welcome – these will be placed on a communal vinyl shelf (due to their larger size).You may choose to change the selection of items on your shelf at any time. While Little Saturday Room does not place any limitation on content, we may request Fellows to remove any media that we consider at odds with our ethos.
Can I rent a shelf with my friends?
We place no limitations on the number of people that may contribute to a shelf. However one shelf can only be registered to max. 2 people with each person receiving the perks of a Fellow.
What are the perks of being a Fellow?
Fellows enjoy all the perks of a Friend for 2x the duration of their rental term. That means if you rent a shelf for 6 months, you will only need to renew your membership as a Friend a year later.Fellows may also propose to run an activity for the community within the space. Approved activities will receive an honorarium of SGD 80.00.
How much does it cost to rent a shelf?
We offer two rental terms:
6 months @ $360.00 (or $2.77/day)
12 months @ $600.00 (or $2.50/day)
*per day rate excludes Little Saturday Room’s 2 closure days.
What if my item is lost/damaged?
In the event that your item is lost or badly damaged due to mishandling by a visitor, Little Saturday Room will compensate you up to $20.00 for your item.
